Looking for an aligned team? Michael is an international facilitator working with teams for over 10 years. Utilizing his Master's in Psychology, improv, and design thinking background Michael has facilitated workshops on team culture for organizations like Dropbox, Salesforce, Kaiser Permanente, ACLU of San Diego, HCL America, Teradata, Limelight Health, and more.
As a workplace culture consultant, Michael leads workshops on a variety of topics. Some of which include a psychological safety workshop. The impact of trust in the workplace. How to navigate difficult conversations to deepen relationships and productivity. Michael is passionate when it comes to bringing teams together. Supporting them to create, learn and grow with one another. To solve complex and challenging problems while creating an impact for local communities. Michael has worked with thousands of people through his workshops.
Michael started leading groups at substance abuse and mental health facilities. Teaching skills such as effective communication, mindfulness, anger management, healthy relationships, and so on.
In 2013, Michael began facilitating at Leela. An improv theatre company in San Francisco. By combining his psychology and improv background, he learned how to create fun and impactful experiences. He learned design thinking when he was the community organizer for OpenIDEO.
His facilitation method creates connection, allows for productivity and helps team get aligned quickly.
Background
Michael was born in New York City. He currently resides as a business consultant in Oceanside, California. He holds a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Albany. Along with a Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida.
He has over 15 years of improv experience. Performing with a variety of troops and theatre companies all over the country. He was the President of Psy Squared. Along with facilitating, Michael enjoys dancing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, dinner nights with good friends, and banana pancakes.
