CONFLICT RESOLUTION TRAINING

Conflict Resolution Training to Improve Conversations In Your Team

You have a team that can get things done, but when things get challenging collaboration starts to break down.  You know those moments when something doesn’t go right and a project flops.

Your team has many skills, but they struggle when it comes to engaging in productive disagreement.  People end up miscommunicating with one another, judging each other, gossiping behind each other's back, and avoid working together.  They take things personally which causes them to feel anger, contempt, and disrespect.  The team devolves into each member thinking they work with ”bad” people.

A Productive Mindset Shift

I help teams with conflict resolution training to move out of seeing conflict as right vs wrong or bad vs good,  or us vs them dynamics.  Together we eliminate this counterproductive mindset and shift perspectives so they can take the time to apply some simple principles of communication, helping the team feel understood and respected.

I teach how to deal with conflict in a team culture by moving past the animosity, stop taking sides and work together towards a resolution.  I’ve been helping mediate conflicts for over ten years now.  Leading people to listen, understand and work together to solve problems.  The process goes like this:

Types of Conflict

Identifying the main issue can be a challenge, especially when people are charged and don’t want to work together.  You and your team will learn how to identify where the conflict lies.  Before solving a problem, we have to understand what it is.

Productive Dialogue

Your team will learn how to deal with conflict through different mindsets and steps they can take in order to start working towards a mutual understanding and joint solution.  Working to understand how they can work with each other rather than against each other.

Understanding over information

Our conflict resolution training workshop is not just about information, it's about the application of knowledge.  Your staff will develop a deep understanding of the work it takes to productively engage in real-time conflict.

We can put a stop to the continued strain, stagnant team growth, and us vs them dynamics.  Instead, they will feel comfortable speaking openly, challenge one another to create innovative ideas and collaborate rather than working in silos.  Leading to happier and more productive team culture.
