What are the fundamentals of psychological safety?
Are people staying quiet in your meetings? Is it hard for your team to challenge each other? Is there a fear of taking risks? Do people call out a lot? Has there been an increase in your turnover?
All of these instances make it difficult for your team to work well with each other and get things done. They are also signs that your team may not feel psychologically safe.
Oftentimes people feel fear of judgement which prevents them from really engaging with their other team members. Being a part of a team like that can make you feel hopeless and frustrated.
Yet there are so many other teams that thrive and even hang out with each other on the weekends.
I’ve seen it time and time again where people feel really scared to share openly with one another. I’ve even been in a few environments where I felt the same thing. For over 10 years I’ve been working with teams to help them feel safe to collaborate with one another.
In this video we will share with you the fundamentals of psychological safety. Giving you a better sense of what to look out for and how you can help create a more collaborative space.
So that you stop dreading meetings and feel comfortable saying the things you’ve been dying to say.
